Locution's Mission

Locution encourages everyone to grow as writers, become better than they were before, and share their art with others. We view writing as an art best driven by passion, and this project is the highway we have constructed to pursue that. Moreover, we strive to become a respected platform from which new writers can gain valuable experience in technique and professionalism.

Though our backgrounds, interests and personalities vary, each of us shares a common dedication to literature, art, and the joy of creating. Our experiences and cultures affect us individually in a multitude of ways and the outcome has been, and will continue to be, exhilarating.

To be a writer is to live, and literature does not exist in a vacuum. The fact that we all come back and continue to exist as a community is testament to our passion. It is our wish to share this.
